Are you sick of working in a job that is really a J.O.B. (Just Over Broke) situation?  There are ways to make sure you get high paying jobs whenever it is you are seeking employment.  You can set yourself up to get the job you want with the salary or hourly rate that you desire if you are not afraid to stand up for yourself, make a few changes, and move forward with your life.  There are also ways to locate better paying jobs if you are ready to make more money.  Here is what you must know.

First, most of the jobs that are advertised in the newspapers are worthless.  These are typically jobs that are not desirable, do not pay well, or have very high turnover.  This is not what you are after so avoid these job listings as much as you can.  If you want to add in the jobs that are listed on the internet you can do that too because half of those ads are for recruiters looking to charge you to find you a job anyway.  Recruiters are not all bad, but be very careful when you use a recruiter.

Second, if you want to know where are the great high paying jobs are, then you need to start networking and getting to know people in your area.  This is how you find out about the job openings and the professional opportunities that are out there before they are ever advertised.  Those that have the high paying jobs that are worth having never have to advertise because they are constantly looking for the right people to fill the positions even before the positions are vacant.

Last, if you are networking properly, then you know somebody that has a job opening for one of the high paying jobs that you are after.  This is the best way to find the employment you desire and make sure your family is fed.  You don’t have to live below the poverty level if you have some skills that are marketable in the workplace.  If you are lacking the skills, then you need to go to school, apprentice, or do something go gain the knowledge and skills you need to make more money.

So, if you want to find and land high paying jobs you need to stop counting on the newspapers and online job postings.  You are better off sending out resumes to places you would like to work that are not advertising any jobs.  This will get you in sooner rather than later.
